Oxford Diecast Model Ice Cream Vehicles
Oxford Diecast released it first ice cream vehicle in 2006 with an Anglia 307E commercial van which was used by many fleet operators. Since then Oxford has released many different styles of ice cream vehicles at several different sizes.Many of the full size vehicles were manufactured by Whitby Morrison which was founded in 1962 by Bryan Whitby and now has a worldwide customer base from over 60 countries. Body styles include - Austin, Bedford, Ford, Mercedes, Mini and Morris with scales of 1:43, 1:76 and 1:148. The small N scale models are tiny with the NCA003 measuring in at just 2.5 cm, yet packed with detail. Whilst the Walls Ice Cream Whitby Mondial Ice Cream Van at 1:43 scale is 12.5 cm long.
